Role Summary:
The Operations Officer role is an integral part of the central team with responsibilitiy for our central operations, procedures and IT systems (including SharePoint). You will manage the our internal park events that attract over 5k people to the park, and have responsibility for overseeing (and growing) our events calendar with exciting new partnerships with local community and children’s organisations. You will work closely with different teams and stakeholders to deliver a great experience for our community and park visitors.

Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee and improve organisational procedures (IT, GDPR, Health & Safety, Fire Evacuation, incident management), ensuring staff are trained and procedures are documented on SharePoint.
- Develop and implement systems for more efficient, collaborative work across the charity, and improve office processes.
- Build and manage a volunteer infrastructure, including recruitment, induction, and ongoing oversight to provide a high-quality volunteer experience.
- Coordinate and manage a diverse programme of park events, ensuring safety, compliance, and success within budget while fostering community engagement.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support capital projects and ensure the park operates effectively.
- Oversee commercial operations, including facility hire, marketing, pricing, and developing partnerships with local organisations and schools.
- Identify and explore new opportunities, partnerships, and experiences to generate income and enrich the local community.
- Support the Café Manager to increase café visibility, income, and integrate it with other park services.
