About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Service Manager to join our dedicated team in Rotherham.

As the Service Manager, you will provide strong, visible leaderships. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of services, supervising the team and promoting the service.

General Tasks

  • Be the main point of contact for staff, commissioners, and external agencies.
  • Promote the service to a wide audience, building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and improve service delivery, ensuring it meets high standards and is continuously developing to meet the needs of those we support.
  • Lead and supervise the Team Leader and Housing support workers, fostering a culture of good practice.
  • Oversee property and VOID management, including inspections, repairs, and tenancy transitions.
  • Champion creative, trauma-informed approaches to reduce inequality and promote positive life choices for the people we support.
  • Stay informed on Housing and Homelessness, policies, and best practices.
  • Act as the safeguarding lead, ensuring safety and compliance across the service.

Requirements

  • Educated to level 3 in a relevant field (Housing, social care, psychology, criminology, or similar). Hold relevant experience related to this area.
  • Level 3 – 5 in management and/or coaching, or be willing to undertake
  • An individual who embraces challenges enthusiastically
  • An understand of the principles of Psychologically Informed Environments and Trauma Informed Practice
  • At least 2 years’ experience of working within Housing or Homelessness services
  • Experience of building successful professional relationships with stakeholders
