  • Community Integration Officer – Hampshire

    We are excited to be delivering Connect to Work in Hampshire and are seeking a Community Integration Officer to help us build strong local connections and ensure more people can access life-changing employment support.

    About the Role
    As a Community Integration Officer, you will play a vital role in promoting our services and increasing referrals to the Connect to Work programme. You’ll work closely with community groups, local authorities, Jobcentres, and NHS partners to raise awareness and encourage participation.

    You’ll become an expert in our services, confidently representing Shaw Trust and building relationships that make a real difference. This is a community-based role, combining face-to-face engagement with digital outreach, and you’ll work alongside our operational team to re-engage participants where needed.

    This is a performance-focused role, with clear targets aligned to referral and start profiles set by the commissioner.

    What You’ll Do
    • Engage with local stakeholders to promote our services and strengthen partnerships.
    • Increase referrals and ensure participants attend their first appointment.
    • Represent Shaw Trust at community events, Jobcentre appointments, and NHS settings.
    • Support seamless referral processes and participant engagement.
    • Work collaboratively with operational teams to re-engage participants and improve outcomes.
    You Will Have
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to work independently in a community-based role.
    • Confidence in promoting services and engaging stakeholders.
    • Experience working to targets and delivering results.
    • Ability to travel across Hampshire (excluding Portsmouth and Southampton).
