As we prepare to play a key role in delivering the World Triathlon Championship Series in London over the next three years, and have our sights set on LA2028, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial and operational strategy that powers our ambitions, creating sustainable impact, driving our passion for grassroots development, and enhancing community engagement.
With a turnover of circa £10 million, and a team of around 85 employees across all business areas for British Triathlon and Triathlon England, we consistently deliver world leading performances and drive meaningful change across the sport. Our work is deeply rooted in Triathlon England's community and values, reflecting our commitment to development and growth as well as social impact and sustainability.
As Director of Finance, Governance & Operations, you'll develop and deliver a forward-thinking financial and governance strategy, ensuring robust infrastructure and operational controls that actively contribute to our future financial sustainability ambitions. You'll lead the budget planning and forecasting process, while developing and inspiring our high-performing Finance, Governance & Operations teams to continually drive excellence throughout the wider organisation.
We're looking for a fully qualified financial professional who loves working collaboratively, values clear communication, and is excited to make a real impact from grassroots participation to elite performance. Bringing a curious, tech-savvy mindset, a passion for using data to guide decisions, and the confidence to build strong relationships, you'll care about doing things the right way, improving how we work, and helping us grow sustainably.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll be a key member of our Executive Team, leading Finance, Governance, and Operations with vision and purpose. You'll empower talented teams, foster collaboration, and drive operational excellence that shapes the future of British Triathlon.
