Part-Time Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 16 year old male living in the Pontypridd area, I like going swimming and also enjoy walking so would like a PA to keep up with me as I am quite fit. I love listening to music and would like to go to the cinema from time to time.

I have ADHD and learning difficulties but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying myself and doing the things I like to do. I sometimes get agitated and anxious but I will make you aware. I would need a PA who drives and let me listen to my music in the car when we are out.

I will need your full attention when we are out in the community to make sure I am safe at all times.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Main reason for the position, out in the community and respite for family.

RATE(S) OF PAY

£14.00 per hour plus Mileage and Expenses.

HOURS OF WORK

6 hrs a week school term time and 12 hrs a week school holidays.

Times and days to be discussed at interview stage.

TASKS CAN INCLUDE

Social outings, community activities
Any other reasonable task

ABOUT THE JOB

This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.

All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.

Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period.

Wages will be paid on a four-weekly / monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
