Ely
Full-time

As a growing charity, we are looking to expand our team of Support Workers to provide valuable and caring support to adults with learning disabilities.

This role is based in Ely, where you will be responsible for supporting a lady living in her own house, enabling her to live independently, building up her confidence and offering opportunities for her to experience new activities.

Read about her in her own words below:

“I am a bubbly lady who lives in Ely. I am looking for people to support me so I can have a fun and interesting life. I really love Disney characters and films as well as other TV shows. I love going out to the cinema, train journeys and seeing my family. I have my own car so it’s really important to me that you drive. I love chatting and talking about the things that interest me and I am a very good teacher of sign language as this is the best way I communicate.

I need some support with bathing and looking my best and it’s really important you can follow my plans. You will be kind and patient, good at communicating and helping me look after my house. I have a great memory and it’s important to me that you are able to remember all the things that are also important to me.”
