We’re looking for a dynamic and relationship-driven Corporate Acquisition / Relationship Manager to join City Hospice on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. You’ll play a key role in growing our corporate partnerships — building lasting relationships with businesses across South Wales to generate income and raise awareness of our vital work supporting patients and families.

As a key member of the Income Generation team, you’ll be responsible for developing, managing, and growing high-quality corporate partnerships to maximise income for City Hospice. Working alongside our Corporate Partnerships Manager and reporting to the Fundraising and Marketing Director, you’ll lead on acquiring new business supporters and nurturing existing ones — ensuring every partnership delivers real impact.

You’ll design and deliver a corporate fundraising plan, create an inspiring ‘corporate offer’ for partners, secure event sponsorship, and identify new opportunities for collaboration. From pitching to local businesses to supporting high-profile corporate events, your work will help strengthen our brand and sustain our mission.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement a corporate fundraising strategy to meet income targets.
  • Cultivate new partnerships and retain existing relationships.
  • Secure sponsorship for City Hospice events and campaigns.
  • Promote corporate partnerships through digital and traditional media.
  • Collaborate across the fundraising team to support shared goals.

About You

  • We’re looking for someone with:
  • Proven experience in corporate fundraising, sales, or marketing.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A creative and strategic approach to partnership development.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • A positive, team-focused attitude with flexibility and enthusiasm.
  • Experience in the charity or hospice sector, or a fundraising qualification, would be an advantage.
