Contract: Fixed term until 31 May 2026, working 35 hours per week.
Salary: £28,662 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme and generous annual leave.
Location: Manchester (office based)
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join the Estates and Facilities Team playing a key role in providing an efficient, courteous, and professional facilities service to staff and visitors at our Head Office in Manchester.
The main duties include greeting staff and visitors; assisting staff with arrangements for meetings; raising purchase orders; keeping accurate and up to date records; maintaining supplies of stationery and office refreshments; dealing with mail; monitoring cleaning standards; recording planned and reactive maintenance; reporting maintenance issues; contributing to maintaining a healthy and safe environment for staff and visitors and communicating effectively at all levels both face to face and by email.
Timekeeping and reliability are key to this role, and applicants should be available and prepared to work the 7 hours a day at the office. Occasional out of usual hours working may be required to enable works or maintenance to go ahead, notice would be given.
Applicants should have experience in a customer facing role, be reliable, approachable and helpful, possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook and Teams and be able to prioritise tasks and operate and communicate effectively within a small team, knowledge of health and safety in a working environment would be desirable.
