Head of Sales Marwell Wildlife is dedicated to the conservation of biodiversity and other natural resources. The Head of Sales will be responsible for leading the sales strategy, product development and sales team performance. Location: Marwell Wildlife Reports to: Commercial & Marketing Director Management: Admin Support role The Role The Head of Sales is responsible for leading the sales strategy, product development and sales team performance for all corporate event offerings, weddings, celebrations & localised activities across the business from commercialising available space across the park to selling bespoke event packages. The successful candidate will have quantifiable experience in driving incremental revenue in both the B2B and B2C markets. The role will manage end to end sales funnel across all event product offers, including but not restricted to: • collaborating on defining the product offers to take to market • representing Marwell at industry events & shows to network and build a pipeline of new business • collaborating on marketing campaigns and sales collateral to generate new leads • working on and delivering new business pitches • converting enquiries to sales • account management to build long term relationships and repeat business • • collaborating with internal teams to deliver profitable events to satisfied clients liaising with events team on creating activities within retail spaces and actively • taking to market to local businesses and corporate clients identifying and executing upsells on secured business • preparing and managing associated sales budget • motivate and effectively manager support role to include performance reviews and regular catch ups • undertake any other reasonable duties as required by your line manager The Candidate Qualifications & Experience Essential • Degree in Sales, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field • Significant experience in a comparable role • Quantifiable track record in driving revenue growth, achieving sales targets and managing client relationships • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in mentoring and developing sales talent • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities with a client-focused approach • Proficiency in CRM database management Attributes • Ability to manage, develop and deliver multiple sales campaigns simultaneously • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset • Ability to work across multiple teams and cultural fit to Marwell values o We Care, We Commit, We Act, We Trust • Strategic and commercially minded with a client-first approach • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for client meetings and events • Network of existing corporate contacts is a strong advantage About Marwell Marwell Wildlife is dedicated to the conservation of biodiversity and other natural resources.
