The role

NEBOSH is looking for a Director of Reliability that will provide leadership and direction to the NEBOSH Reliability teams responsible for maintaining the quality and standards of marking of NEBOSH assessments.

The role will be accountable for:

Leadership -Senior management responsibilities in the leadership and performance of the Reliability teams (Reliability, Reliability Systems) and achievement to strategic and business plan objectives.Reliability -Directing and overseeing the people, systems and assurance mechanisms that protect the integrity of marking across all assessment types; ensuring that outcomes reflect learner performance and withstand scrutiny from regulators, stakeholders and employers.Quality -Overseeing the quality of the Examiner network and its adherence to the quality standards for marking through guidance and support, compliance monitoring and risk profiling.Continuous Improvement- Contributing to the development of a culture of continuous improvement and a commitment to high performance and quality.

The Director of Reliability will be pivotal in ensuring the integrity of NEBOSH qualifications; ensuring reliable marking and maintaining a quality assured team of Examiners both locally and internationally.

  • You are an experienced senior leader that has successfully led and motivated multiple teams during period of change.
  • You have a passion for compliance and quality that you will want to bring into an environment to make a positive impact.
  • You can demonstrate a track record of successfully implementing initiatives to improve and maintain reliable marking and improve quality standards of Examiners.
  • You have proven experience in working in a regulated environment. Preferably an awarding organisation, training organisation, higher education organisation or related sector.
  • You have experience in contributing to new system implementation projects and reengineering processes to ensure efficiency, sustainability and quality.
