Welcome

Thank you for your interest in the Director of Music and Performance at King’s St Alban’s Prep School.

Music sits at the heart of life at King’s St Alban’s
and as one of the nation’s 44 Choir Schools, and a
member of the Choir Schools’ Association, we are
proud of our musical heritage.

Located on a site adjacent to the Senior School and
Worcester Cathedral, King’s St Alban’s Prep School
is a busy and fulfilling place to work. We provide
the stability and pastoral focus children need to
develop in confidence and independence, whilst
also offering them outstanding resources and
facilities allowing them to embrace the wide range
of curricular and co-curricular opportunities on
offer.

Our class sizes are small, allowing personalised
learning and providing the perfect opportunity for

children to have fun and to learn creatively.

We are looking to appoint a Director of Music
and Performance who will oversee all aspects
of performance in both our Pre-Prep and Prep
departments. We are seeking to employ an
individual who is able to build on the strong
tradition of music in the school, form meaningful
relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
and provide the very best for the children in our
care.

This post would suit an individual who has great
energy and enthusiasm for music and performance,
is a proactive team player, and is keen to inspire
children through their love of music-making.

A willingness to become involved in the wider life of
King’s St Alban’s and the wider King’s Foundation is
essential.

If this sounds like the role for you, I look forward to
receiving your application.
