Job Title: Support Administrator - Solihull (Fixed Term Contract)

Reports to: Team Leader

Salary: Scale 4, Point 24, £24,570 per annum pro rota

Hours of work: Part Time (18.75 hours per week)

*Fixed Term until September 2026*

Key Responsibilities:

SUPPORT

  • To provide day to day support to the Homeless Prevention Workers (HPW) to support efficient operation of the office
  • To provide day to day support to the Solihull Pathway Projects as required
  • To answer the telephone and respond to requests and/or take messages/escalate to appropriate Officers in the hub
  • To support the team to ensure referrals are picked up in a timely manner on the shared email & Jigsaw Dashboard
  • To send out Duty to Refer (DTR) Information as and when requested
  • To liaise with the contact center and escalate referrals to the attention of the Homeless Prevention Co-Ordinator
  • To ensure the Hub operates an Appointment based system to enhance service delivery and work closely with the team to book Appointments for young people
  • To ensure feedback forms are being sent to young people to complete
  • To administer meetings, including the preparation of agenda and papers and to take minutes of the meetings.
  • Ensure displays around the Youth hub are up to date and relevant
  • To support the wider team with other tasks when required
  • Assist with the weekly preparation of duty Rota’s
  • To support the Hub in arranging partnership events as and when required
  • To complete incident/accident reports.
  • Administer day savers and food bank vouchers, keeping a record to be able to provide reports.
  • Support the Team Leader to Administer and keep record of petty cash
  • Support the hub to complete Monthly & Quarterly reporting data to the Data Officer
  • To ensure the Hubs Monthly, Quarterly & Annual reporting timetable is followed

DATA DUTIES

QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential:

  • English Language and Math’s to GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent qualifications

Desirable:

  • NVQ 2 Advice & Guidance, Health & Social Care or equivalent

ROLE EXPERIENCE

Essential:

  • Office experience / experience in working to deadlines
  • Experience of managing and analysing complex project statistical data.
  • Delivering frontline triage or assessment service.

Desirable:

  • Working with young people in the following settings/Types of work – Youth Work, Residential or Social Work, Probation, Community Work, Education and Training, Housing.
