Cleaner
We are recruiting for a Cleaner to cover maternity leave to start as soon as possible.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 3 hours per day (4pm to 7pm), Friday 4 hours per day (4pm to 8pm). Going forward there may be availability for more hours.
Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, the successful candidate will work as part of a busy team, be prepared to work flexibly and use their own initiative.
No experience is needed and full training will be given.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work a few hours a week, in a pleasant working environment.

Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE
1. The post holder will provide a cleaning service for the designated premises.
AUTHORITY
2. He/she is under the line management of the Operations Manager but accountable to the Cleaning Supervisor on a daily basis.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
3. To organise and carry out all allocated work to fulfil operational requirements.
4. To comply with all statutory regulations and ensure that COSHH and Health and Safety regulations and guidelines are fully complied with.
5. To operate cleaning equipment including scrubbing and buffing machines as required in an efficient and safe manner.
6. To attend training courses and meetings as directed by the College.
7. To ensure the uniform and personal protective equipment provided by the College is worn when on duty.
8. Any duties and responsibilities appropriate to the grade and level of responsibility of the post.

10. The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and other associated legislation places responsibilities for Health and Safety on all employees.
