  • About You
  • The successful candiate is a highly organised and proactive Administrator with a strong understanding of office systems and procedures, have experience providing effective administrative support, confidently navigating both complex manual and computerised systems.

    You will have:

    • Strong knowledge of administrative and office systems. Exceptional attention to detail and a systematic approach to work and record-keeping.

    • Excellent data entry and IT skills, including word processing, databases, and spreadsheets, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.

    • Experience conducting robust audits, identifying areas for improvement, and following up on actions.

    • Good written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate professionally in pressurised or challenging situations.

    • Literacy and numeracy at Level 2 (GCSE grade 4+ or equivalent) to summarise information, draft correspondence, calculate payments, and maintain financial records.

    • A Business Administration qualification (Level 2 or above) or equivalent is desirable.

    • Experience with Apprenticeship funding, Advanced Learner Loans, Adult Education Budget (AEB), and Skills Bootcamp programmes is highly desirable.

    • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise across a varied workload and meet deadlines.

    • Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal confidently with a wide range of people in person and over the phone.

    • A collaborative team spirit, willing to provide cover and support to colleagues and maintain positive working relationships.

    Skills Administratorto join our dynamic MIS team, playing a key role in the smooth operation and performance of our national skills programmes.

    This primarily home-based Skills Administrator role, with occasional travel to London, is pivotal in ensuring compliance with Department for Education (DfE) funding guidelines, supporting the Charity’s vision, and contributing to the success of our wider operations. The position is offered on a

    part-time basis, working24 hours per week, with apro-rata salary of £15,238.08 per annum.

    As part of the MIS Administration Team, you will support the delivery of Apprenticeships, Student Loans, and, as required, Adult Education Budget and Skills Bootcamp programmes. You will also help the team meet broader organisational objectives, maintaining accurate, robust, and efficient administrative processes.
