The Grace Eyre Foundation is a charity based in Brighton & Hove and the wider Sussex community that has been working with people with a Learning Disability and autistic people since 1898. Our mission is to work towards being led by people with Learning Disabilities and autistic people to deliver high-quality housing, support and activities in their local communities. Introduction to the role: 

We are seeking passionate, caring, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Outreach/24/7 Support Workers in Brighton and Hove. If you are committed to making a real difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities and autism, we would love to hear from you. In this role, you’ll be supporting individuals in developing their independence, building on their strengths, and leading a fulfilling, active life within their community.

As a Support Worker, you’ll provide tailored care and support to individuals in both their homes and the community. Your role will focus on helping people live as independently as possible, beyond daily living tasks you may be supporting individuals to build on self-esteem, personal growth, and active participation in social and community activities.

  Brief outline of the role

The role will be to support them to be as independent as possible with all daily living tasks. You will be required to support them with their regular routines and activities, maintain their tenancy, learn new skills around cooking and support with personal care and medication.
