Job Purpose:

As part of our Sales & Marketing Team based at Fairthorne Manor, you will be our main sales contact for customers, always ensuring a fantastic customer experience. You will liaise with customers for the sales and administration of a range of services across our Fairthorne Group sites. You will oversee and ensure the smooth running and warm welcome at the main Fairthorne Manor reception area, our first point of contact for visiting families, schools and visitors.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • As part of the Sales & Marketing team, drive sales for Schools & Groups, school holiday programmes, community offerings, large-scale events, and family activities.
  • As part of the team manage the various inboxes and customer enquiries to ensure prompt communication with our various customer groups.
  • Ensure all Group booking information is logged correctly for sharing across the organisation.
  • Answer incoming calls, enquiries and emails and liaise directly with customers and group leaders in a busy office environment as part of a robust and organised sales process.
  • Make outgoing calls to promote YMCAFG programmes and events, identifying opportunities to secure sales, overcome objections and cross-sell additional experiences. To include site tours and other in-person sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, focusing on retention and upselling.
  • Work with Sales & Marketing colleagues to understand, deliver and be accountable for a range of income and surplus targets required for the charity.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales updates and reports in support of the wider business reporting function across the charity.
  • Actively promote new services in response to customer
  • Represent the sales team in meetings where
  • Process invoices to ensure they are settled in line with YMCA conditions.
  • Organise and oversee sales data via our CRM system to provide data and reports as required.
  • Accurately maintain customer records, including databases and
  • Provide feedback on marketing impact, reach, sales progress and new opportunities.
  • Handle internal queries from other
  • As required, welcome visitors at reception, dealing with their requirements to ensure a great experience.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 1-year sales and service experience in a busy environment, including answering incoming telephone calls, implementing and maintaining sales processes and providing excellent customer
  • First-class administration skills and attention to
  • Experience of CRM software in producing reports and interpreting data.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational, oral and written communication skills
  • An ability to absorb and retain a wide variety of product
  • An ability to work under pressure in a number of varied roles and accurately to
  • Ability to work as part of a team and without close
  • A flexible approach to this role and any other work required to ensure the sustainability of the site and wider
