St Michael’s is a welcoming and inclusive church family with a congregation which spans all ages and reflects Watford as a multi-cultural community. The church is situated not far from the vibrant town centre and the lovely city of St Albans with its beautiful cathedral is 9 miles away.

Our priorities are to develop our engagement with the local community, especially with people from diverse backgrounds, to increase the number of worshippers, to support and respect the environment and to reinvigorate our pastoral care.

We are praying for a new vicar who will be filled with the Holy Spirit, have a love of teaching God’s word and who:

• Has the ability to connect with and be approachable to people from a wide range of ages and backgrounds.
• Is keen to work collaboratively, inspire the whole church family, be comfortable to motivate as a team leader and have energy and vision for the future.
• Enjoys engaging and joining in with children and young people (and their families) to bring God into their lives and nurture their faith.
• Is organised and willing to juggle every aspect of parish life.
