A stepping stone for future progression, this varied and fulfilling role will see you work alongside clinical teams, the people we support, employers and other key stakeholders in the community with training from both Waythrough and the IPS platform.

Individual Placement & Support – IPS – Employment services support people to find paid employment as part of their recovery. Day to day you will be supporting clients with mental health support needs to find and sustain paid employment as a key element of their recovery - engaging with employers and building good working relationships with Mental Health teams along the way.

You’ll offer support, careers advice and guidance, helping people to set their own recovery and employment focused goals and provide training in personal and skills development such as CV preparation, interview techniques etc.

Additionally, you will have responsibility for maintaining efficient admin systems to ensure referrals, assessments, progress and reviews are completed in a timely manner.

We are looking for:

  • Experience of working in a customer facing environment e.g. Customer Services, Social Care, Hospitality, Sales etc

  • Experience of working in a performance target driven environment

  • Willingness to travel locally and dedicated to working in the community.

The successful candidate need to have their own transport and a clean driving license.

Aquarius is a subsidiary of Waythrough. Aquarius is a Midlands-based charity supporting individuals to overcome the harms caused by drugs, alcohol and gambling. Aquarius has always held the view that people we support could resolve their problems with support and guidance and that people have the ability to find their own solutions to their problems. Our roles across the organisation include Practitioners and Administrators as well as Team Managers.
