Are you a compassionate leader with a passion for delivering exceptional adult care?

We’re looking for a Registered Manager to lead and shape services at The Willows (nursing home) and The Rambles (registered care home), supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs.

In this pivotal role, you’ll inspire a dedicated team, uphold the highest standards of support and safeguarding, and work in close partnership with families and professionals to create a safe, empowering environment where every individual can thrive.

Why we think you’ll love this role

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re driven by purpose and committed to making a meaningful impact in adult social care. Every day brings the opportunity to lead with empathy, empower your team, and create a nurturing space where people with learning disabilities and complex needs are supported to live life to the fullest. With the autonomy to shape services, the backing of a passionate organisation, and the chance to build lasting relationships with families and professionals, this is more than a job, it’s a chance to lead change, inspire others, and leave a legacy.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled team across two registered services, promoting wellbeing and professional growth
  • Oversee person-centred care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding protocols, acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead when required
  • Foster a culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment where every individual feels valued
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, leading inspections and driving continuous improvement
  • Implement robust quality assurance systems and monitor performance to achieve outstanding outcomes
  • Manage budgets and resources efficiently to deliver value for money and operational excellence
  • Champion the voice and rights of adults with learning disabilities, ensuring their views shape the service
  • Build strong partnerships with families, carers, external agencies, and health professionals to support holistic care
  • Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion in every aspect of service delivery

What you’ll bring

We welcome applicants from diverse professional backgrounds with experience in regulated adult care services. This includes Registered Managers in nursing or residential care, health and social care team leads, and clinical professionals such as nurses or allied health practitioners.

We’re ideally looking for someone with:

  • A strong understanding of safeguarding, care planning, and regulatory compliance, including CQC standards
  • A person-centred approach that prioritises wellbeing, inclusion, and positive outcomes
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire staff teams
  • Excellent communication and partnership-building abilities with families, professionals, and external agencies
  • Confidence in managing budgets, resources, and operational systems to ensure efficiency and quality
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and the rights of people with learning disabilities
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset to lead through change and drive continuous improvement
  • A recognised qualification in nursing, social care, or leadership, and registration with relevant professional bodies (nursing qualification desirable)
