Children's Support worker

Sessional, zero hours and bank staff positions
As a Children’s Support Worker, you will be at the heart of providing care, encouragement, and development opportunities to children and young people. Working as part of a dedicated team, you’ll deliver engaging activities, provide tailored support, and help each individual build confidence, independence, and meaningful connections.
Key duties:

- Deliver creative workshops, play sessions, and activities tailored to children’s needs on a 1:1 basis
- Support children in accessing community facilities and building social networks
- Act as a key worker, developing person-centred plans that empower each child to achieve their goals
- Assist with personal care, while promoting dignity and independence
- Conduct client needs assessments and reviews
Our ideal candidate:

- Has a strong understanding of child development and diverse needs
- Has a relevant qualification to work with children and young people
- Is aware of safeguarding practices and health and safety protocols
- Demonstrates creative and innovative approaches
- If flexible to work evenings, weekends, and school holidays as part of a rota syst
