Caerlaverock is a stunning nature reserve situated on the north Solway coast. We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our small team.
You will supervise the smooth and efficient operation of the WWT Caerlaverock reserve office and financial interactions in the running of our nature reserve and visitor centre. You will also also provide administrative and operational support to the Centre Manager and the wider team.
This post will suit someone with skills in managing finances and administrative process and who will be inspired by working on one of the best nature reserves in Scotland.
This is a part-time role working 22.5 hours, ideally 3 days a week but we are open to other work patterns.
To join as Administration Officer you will have:
- Experience of working in an office environment with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience of managing financial operations and using finance systems with responsibility for cash handling.
- Responsibility for the effective operation of the administration function including the checking and submission of payroll and the purchase order system.
- Ability to supervise and lead volunteers and casual workers.
- Ability to manage and respond to customer feedback as appropriate.
