This includes delivering first aid to staff and visitors as needed.The role is centred on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children throughcomprehensive care, which involves:Providing immediate medical assistance and managing chronic health needs.Delivering effective health education to pupils.Ensuring our medical provision is professional, safe, and caring at all times.Working closely with pupils, staff, parents, and external health professionals, the School Nurseis essential to our holistic approach to healthcare within the school.HOURS OF WORK This is a part-time, job-share role with our current School Nurse who would be the lead nurse inthis partnership. The core working hours are:Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:30pm during term time.Match Saturdays: The role requires working on four Saturdays per term (12 total peracademic year) from 9:00am to 12:00pm.There is also the requirement to work the 3 days (weekdays) prior the start of each term - 8hours per day, working times to be agreed with the Line Manager. The purpose of theseadditional days is to prepare the Health Centre for the term ahead and to attend any requiredInset training sessions e.g. annual safeguarding update. We are seeking a School Nurse to work approximately 20 hours per week during term-time. The exact working hours and days are flexible.
