Are you passionate about supporting others and helping to build a strong, caring academic community? Linacre College is seeking Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) to join our dedicated Student Welfare and Pastoral Support Team as Student Welfare Advisors.
This is a unique opportunity to combine your academic journey with meaningful welfare work — ensuring every member of our diverse community feels supported, safe, and inspired to thrive.
About the Role

- Be a welcoming, approachable presence in College life.
- Help design and deliver proactive wellbeing and community initiatives.
- Offer academic coaching and peer guidance informed by your own research and study experience.
- Provide calm, practical assistance during occasional out-of-hours welfare or emergency situations.
- Share responsibility for a duty rota, ensuring year-round coverage and on-site presence.
- This role is residential — you’ll live on-site at Linacre College, becoming an integral part of our close-knit community.
