Project Support Officer

About Us
VAST is a registered charity dedicated to supporting and empowering the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector in Stoke-on-Trent. We aim to foster strong local networks, strengthen community engagement, and build the capacity of local community groups.
The Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Support Officer to join our team delivering the inVOLved project across Hanley and Stoke. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of activities by coordinating venues, resources, and equipment, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the team with data collection and reporting.
You will work closely with the team to enable creative, interest-led sessions that empower individuals facing multiple disadvantage. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on organisation, teamwork, and making a tangible difference behind the scenes.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience providing administrative or logistical support in a community or project setting.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Good IT skills and confidence in maintaining administrative systems.
- Understanding of safeguarding and health & safety requirements.
- Ability to travel locally and transport materials (access to a vehicle is highly desirable).
- Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends.
