Early Years Administrator

Service: Peterborough Pre-Schools
Location: Hybrid - Homeworking and some attendance at office in Woodfield Park Family and Community Centre, Normanton Road, PE1 4XE. Includes occasional travel to other sites within Peterborough
Hours: 16 hours per week (part-time, term time only)
Salary: £24,206 FTE per annum (£7,649.30 per annum for part-time, 16 hours per week, 38 weeks per year term time only)

This is a busy and varied role offering the chance to support our Peterborough Pre-school service through administrative tasks and responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities:
• Working with our early years manager to ensure the smooth running of all administrative systems.
• Creating, or maintaining existing, databases.
• Supporting with the creation of documents and promotional materials
• Placing regular stock orders
• Support with occasional special events
• Making visits to early years settings to deliver resources or support with administrative issues
• Understanding the importance of safeguarding within your role

Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
• Excellent IT skills, including a demonstrated, recent knowledge of Microsoft 365 especially, Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint and Forms.
• Experience using Canva to design, create and maintain publicity materials.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, telephone and face to face), with a good understanding of customer service
• Proactive, solution-focussed work-ethic with excellent attention to detail.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Appointments are subject to Family Action receiving a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service - Enhanced Level including children’s barred list check
