CRM Marketing Communications Officer
We’re looking for a CRM specialist to play a key role in the planning and implementation of email and SMS marketing campaigns. Working closely with colleagues across Marketing and Student Recruitment, you’ll help deliver a highly engaging and personalised prospective student journey; from pre‑applicant through to onboarding and enrolment.
You’ll support the conversion of prospects and pre‑applicants through tailored communications that reflect our values. At Cardiff Met, we’re always looking for better, more meaningful ways to connect, and your work will help us shape messages that feel personal, purposeful and timely.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Producing engaging communications that resonate with prospective students and guardians, influencing decisions and driving actions.
- Collaborating with colleagues across marketing and student recruitment teams to develop timely and relevant communication campaigns.
- Designing on brand touchpoints - from lead generation to onboarding and enrolment.
- Utilising your CRM knowledge and experience to tailor customer journeys based on relational triggers.
What you’ll bring
You’ll bring a strong blend of CRM expertise, analytical thinking and creativity. You’ll be confident working with data, building segmented journeys and designing impactful communications that support prospective students at every stage of their decision making. You’ll also be skilled in using CRM programmes, designing forms and email templates, with excellent copywriting skills and an eye for detail.
In addition, you’ll bring:
- A positive and collaborative approach;
- The ability to work to tight deadlines, with a track record of delivering projects in an organised fashion.
- The ability to measure success, solve problems and identify opportunities for improvement.
- A good understanding of data protection legislation including GDPR.
