The role:
We are looking for caring, creative, and versatile individuals to join our team of Cover Tutors to
cover annual leave and sickness for our Aspirations Tutor Team.  You will work with a group of
Autistic Learners delivering work set by a member of the team or created by yourself. No two days
are the same, so you need to enjoy variety. You will understand the needs of our Autistic Leaners
and help them reach their objectives.

Who we are:
We support and promote people aged 16+ in Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas who are
autistic and or have learning disabilities to live a fulfilling life and we enable opportunities for them
to progress towards independence, education, and employment. We also work to raise awareness of
the potential of people with disabilities to make a positive and valuable contribution to society.

 Key duties and responsibilities of the role:

•  Plans (when needed), and delivers engaging and appropriately differentiated group sessions
•
Instructs and supports staff, to a high standard, in delivering group sessions as per plans
•  Supports learners needs and behaviours by utilising behaviour plans, risk assessments and

staff’s knowledge of individuals within the group
Liaises with the tutor that they are covering, and feeds back on the session

•  Operates as an active and constructive team member, communicating both internally and

externally to a high standard

•  Always acts professionally and behaves in a way that reflects Red2Green’s values

(Individuality, Positivity, Inclusivity, and Connectivity) and culture.

Person specification:
You will have:

•  An understanding of different disabilities and the special needs they bring
•  Understanding of and commitment to Equality, Inclusion & Diversity
•  Experience of working with people with Autism
•  Excellent oral and written communication skills
•  Able to encourage and support other people
•  Able to plan ahead, prioritise, and work to deadlines
•  Ability to work in a team
•  Flair for innovative thinking and positive “can do” attitude
