Salary: Circa £37,000 per annumHours: Full-time, 35 hours per weekLocation: East Finchley or Hendon, with travel across Barnet

Age UK Barnet is looking for an experienced and motivated Community Services Manager to lead a range of services that help older people stay independent, connected and active within their local communities.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-respected local charity and lead services that tackle loneliness, improve wellbeing and support older people to live well. Working alongside a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, you will play a key role in shaping and developing our community services across Barnet. You will be managing our home support services as well as our activities programme.
About You
You are a confident and compassionate leader with experience of managing teams and delivering high-quality community, health, social care or voluntary sector services. Passionate about improving the lives of older people, you understand the importance of person-centred support and have the ability to motivate others, build strong partnerships and drive continuous improvement.
You will be an excellent communicator, organised and adaptable, with a good understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion. Most importantly, you will share our vision of ensuring older people can age well and remain connected to their communities.
