Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate

Clinical Nurse Specialistto join our collaborative palliative and end-of-life care team. This unique role offers the opportunity to work flexibly acrosshospice, hospital, and community care settings, ensuring continuity and excellence in care for patients and families.

You will play a pivotal role in delivering

specialist clinical expertise, education, and support to healthcare professionals across Hampshire. Working closely with theChildren’s Community Nursing (CCN) teamsand the hospice, you will help shape and developtraining programmes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and policiesthat reflect best evidence and practice.

About You

  • Registered Paediatric Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Significant experience in palliative and end-of-life care within community or acute settings.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teaching skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passionate about improving care and outcomes for patients and families.

Naomi House & Jacksplace are hospices supporting life-limited and life-threatened children, young adults and their families from across the central South of England.

Naomi House nursing and medical staff provide individualised care that helps to enhance short lives and supports families to make the most of their precious time with their children.  

Jacksplace is the only hospice for young adults in the South of England. The medical and care teams offer specialist care, often over many years, and uphold the dignity and independence of young adults accessing the service.

Naomi House & Jacksplace will be there on good days, difficult days and last days.
