About the service
We are looking to recruit Relief Support Workers and Support Workers offering 6 - 16 hours per week within our Children's services based in Kinning Park, Glasgow. You will be working day to day with a dedicated team to ensure the children who come into the service receive the best care and opportunity to express themselves and have fun through a variety of activities such as arts, crafts, and sensory play.
We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe and secure environment, a place where people want to visit time and time again and where children and young people with complex support needs can thrive. The people we support have complex needs such as Autism, Learning Difficulties, challenging behaviour, epilepsy, and communication/sensory needs. Our service is for school-aged children and young people where they can also develop their skills, take on new challenges, and make meaningful relationships.
Shift Pattern
Shift are allocated via a staff rota system and the service hours are;
- Saturday: 10:00am to 6:00pm
- Sunday: 10:00am to 4:00pm
- Monday: 3:30pm to 6:30pm
- Tuesday: 3:30pm to 7:30pm
- Thursday: 3:30pm to 6:30pm
