PERSON SPECIFICATION JOB TITLE: Children’s Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner. (Time to Be Me) REQUIREMENT ESSENTIAL/ DESIRABLE 1. Knowledge/Qualifications • Awareness of factors impacting on and issues facing vulnerable children and young people and families (e.g. disadvantage, poverty, disability). Essential • Knowledge of child/young people development Essential • Knowledge of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Essential • Knowledge of legislation relevant to service aims Essential 2. Experience • Experience of direct work with children, young people and Essential families. • Experience of applying safeguarding and child protection policies Essential and procedures. 3. Skills • Ability to listen to and communicate effectively with children and Essential young people • Ability to work as part of a team Essential • Ability to accurately and clearly record case notes deploying the Essential necessary standard of writing and IT skills. • Ability to write reports and produce other management information • Ability to analyse and resolve problems occurring in relation to service users. Circumstances/Health Full clean driving licence/own car or access to an operator of a car with a full clean driving licence.
