About the role
Winchester Action on the Climate Crisis (WinACC), established in 2007, is a local charity with a big ambition. We want to see a world where nature and people thrive in harmony together. Working closely with the Executive Director you will translate our strategy into effective operational delivery.
We are seeking an experienced senior leader, with a solid background in financial management and delivery. Alongside this the postholder will hold responsibility for fundraising and strategic management to ensure WinACC is well run and financially sustainable.
Your highly developed interpersonal skills will be essential, building the relationships internally and externally to contribute positively to a supportive and conscientious working environment.
You will need a proactive, hands-on approach, with a willingness to engage in both strategic planning and day-to-day operational matters.

Hours: 37 hours a week, with the option of fewer hours for the right candidate.
Location: A mix of working from home and at the WinACC office, University of Winchester, Sparkford Road Winchester SO22 4NR.
Pay: Up to £46,000 a year full-time equivalent (37 hours a week); pro-rata if part-time.
Fixed term contract until September 2027, to be extended subject to funding.
