About the role

The Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre (CCDC) is seeking a commercially driven Channel and Partnerships Manager to grow revenue through our global distributor network and strategic partner ecosystem.​

In this role, you will develop and execute CCDC's channel and partnership strategy, expanding our market reach and driving commercial success for our scientific software and services. You will manage and optimise distributor performance, identify new partnership opportunities, negotiate agreements, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders across industry and academia.​

Key Responsibilities​

    • Lead and develop CCDC's global partnerships and distributor programme.​
    • Identify and onboard new distributors and partners in priority markets and sectors.​
    • Drive revenue growth through effective channel and partnership management.​
    • Set and monitor partner performance targets and provide ongoing support and training.​
    • Manage commercial agreements, including royalties and partner contracts.​
    • Collaborate with commercial, marketing, product, and scientific teams to deliver successful partner initiatives.​
    • Represent partner insights and market trends to support strategic decision-making.​

About You​

    • Proven experience in channel sales, distributor management, partnerships, or business development.​
    • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of revenue growth.​
    • Skilled negotiator with excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.​
    • Comfortable working across international markets and cross-functional teams.​
    • Experience in scientific software, technology, life sciences, or related sectors would be an advantage.​
