About Us
St Piers School and College sits in the Education Directorate of Young Epilepsy, the leading national charity working exclusively to improve the lives of children and young people with epilepsy and associated conditions.
St Piers is an innovative and creative non-maintained residential special school and college for children and young people aged 5-25 with epilepsy, autism, severe learning difficulties, speech, language, and communication needs, and sensory and/or physical needs. We work with young people to create personalised learning programmes appropriate to their individual needs and abilities. Your role
To provide a domestic service to a residential house ensuring that the highest standards of hygiene are maintained consistently. To assist Support Workers, House Managers and Assistant House Managers to prepare food and serve meals to students.
As a Domestic Assistant you will be required to participate in any general domestic cleaning and tidying and may be responsible for all or some of the following areas as directed.
You will perform daily cleans which includes, but is not limited to, emptying of bins, vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors, toilet and shower areas, offices, and kitchens; Employees will be required to carry out other duties as requested. The post holder will be responsible for opening and securing of buildings as well general key holding responsibilities.
