    Job Summary

    We are seeking to recruit a Teaching Quality Senior Specialist to join our Quality Directorate.

    Purpose of the role:

    The Teaching Quality Specialist is responsible for the sampling, recording, and reporting of Learning Partner compliance with the terms of the NEBOSH Accreditation Agreement and the Learning Partner Programme. The role is key to enhancing the quality of education, improving the learner experience, maintaining the reputation of NEBOSH and its Learning Partners as well as contributing to the overarching Quality Management process.

    What will you be doing:
    • Conducting virtual interviews (Teams or Zoom).
    • Preparing performance reports, detailing deviations and corrective actions.
    • Identifying areas for improvement and provide information, advice and guidance to Learning Partners.
    • Monitoring, recording and reporting quality information for performance management.
    • Supporting the teaching quality review process including quality reviews and sample planning.
    • Working autonomously to manage a caseload of Learning Partners.
    • Contributing to the supportive, collaborative culture at NEBOSH.
    • Communicating with and sharing information with other NEBOSH Departments and internal stakeholders.
    • Developing and maintaining relationships with key external bodies and organisations.
    About you:

    Our ideal candidate will have the following demonstrable competence:

    Essential
    • A minimum Level 3 education and training qualification (EAT)
    • A minimum Level 4 quality assurance qualification (IQA, EQA)
    • Understanding of the principles and practices of internal and external quality assurance
    • Experience of conducting investigative interviews and/or questioning techniques
    Desirable
    • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders with clarity, integrity, and enthusiasm.
    • Providing information, advice and guidance to service users for the purposes of continuous improvement.
    • Ability to analyse and interpret information from a range of reliable sources to make evidence-based recommendations.
    • A flexible approach to managing changing priorities with demonstrable organisation and planning knowledge and skills.
    • Delivering quality results in a timely manner using appropriate media.
    • Delivering service objectives with professional excellence and efficiency.
    • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Teams (or similar)

    35 hours Monday – FridayWork base:
    The role will be home based with some travel in the UK, therefore, applications from only UK based candidates will be considered.

    There may also be international travel, so a current passport is essential.

    Salary:

    Up to £38,511 per annum based on experience.
