Assistant Shop Manager

Hours

21 hours per week to be worked over three days across Monday to Sunday for the first six months, to be reduced to 14 hours thereafter

Salary 

Band 1 Salary Range £25,207 per annum pro rata

Actual salary £15,124.20 reducing to £10,082.80

Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Assistant Manager to help run the Epping store which is based in the heart of the busy shopping area.

The post holder will support the Shop Manager and be responsible for meeting sales targets, managing the store which includes undertaking daily operations for the shop, including the management and training of volunteers, developing business opportunities and building relationships with the local community.

The ideal candidate will have proven interpersonal skills, hands on retail experience, be ambitious, conscientious and will be able to lead the team by demonstrating excellent leadership skills including outstanding customer care. You will also be a key holder for opening and closing the shop.
