Teacher of Sport - Second in Department
Yateley Manor is currently seeking to appoint a passionate and well qualified Teacher of Sport to join as second in department for sport.
Sport at Yateley Manor is strong with pupils taking part in a range of sporting activities throughout the year. Pupils take part in fixtures every Wednesday and Friday competing against local schools. Pupils participate in a range of sports including Modern Pentathlon. We have various clubs on offer throughout the year including Mountain Biking and Biathlon.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspiring, committed, and qualified Teacher of Sport join as second in department. The successful candidate should be able to teach across the whole age range up to Year 11. The ability to support the Head of PE in leading the delivery of the sports curriculum across the school is essential.
The post holder will be expected to contribute to the future development of the subject both within the curriculum, performance, and lead on the delivery of KS4 GCSE PE.
We would like to hear from experienced Sport/PE teachers, as well as those early in their teaching career with the ambition and drive to take on a position with added responsibility. The ability to teach core PE and academic PE at GCSE is essential for this role. Specialisms in Hockey and Netball would be looked upon favourably but are not essential.
