Are you passionate about supporting people through some of the most challenging times in their lives?
We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated Cancer Care Link Worker to join our innovative Community Linking Project, working directly within the Oncology Team at QE Hospital Gateshead.

Edberts House is a vibrant, values-driven charity supporting over 4,000 people each year across Gateshead, tackling health inequalities through social prescribing and community development.
About the Role
- Build trusted, person-centred relationships with patients and carers
- Provide holistic, non-clinical support
- Support people to navigate complex systems and participate in decisions
- Address health inequalities and connect to services
- Work alongside clinical teams
