Dulwich College (Singapore) is seeking an exceptional individual to lead our safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion strategy as Director of Safeguarding and Wellbeing. This senior leadership role is central to our commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all members of our community.
As the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), the successful candidate will oversee all safeguarding policies, procedures, and practices, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations, and also oversee support of the Student Support Services team . They will lead the strategic development of wellbeing initiatives for students and staff, embedding a culture of care, resilience, and belonging throughout the College.
In addition, the Director will champion Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ), working collaboratively with stakeholders to foster an environment where every individual feels valued and respected. This role involves close partnership with pastoral teams, senior leadership, and external agencies to ensure the holistic development and safety of every student.
We are looking for a highly experienced leader with:
- Recognised safeguarding qualifications and extensive experience in pastoral or safeguarding leadership within an educational setting.
- A deep understanding of international safeguarding frameworks and inclusive education.
- Proven ability to lead DEIJ initiatives and promote wellbeing across diverse communities.
- Outstanding communication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
- A genuine commitment to student welfare and a collaborative approach to working with staff, students, and families.
