Account Manager - Corporate Partnerships Teach First is a charity that believes education is the most powerful tool to help a child fulfil their potential. The role The rundown: You will be responsible for account management within the Corporate Partnerships team to deliver ambitious annual income targets through excellent stewardship and engagement. You will have a deep understanding of account management development and implementation and have a passion for the Teach First mission. You will play a key role in maintaining, growing and retaining our high value corporate partnerships to support our mission. The detail: day-to-day work • Manage a portfolio of 6 and 7 figure existing corporate partners, both strategic and relational. Manage all renewal opportunities with the Head of Corporate Partnerships, creating winning propositions. Manage the re-contracting process with all partners, working closely with fundraising operations, finance and legal to ensure donation levels and contracts agreed are in the best interests of the Charity. • Develop strong relationships with your partners and network effectively to embed the partnership at multiple levels within each organisation. Develop excellent stewardship plans and roadmaps to engage partners in the Teach First mission, based on our segmentation offer. • Develop your networks and engage with Teach First senior volunteers to harness their connections and expertise to identify and progress stewardship plans. • Ensure all work complies with data protection policies and legal requirements including the Fundraising Code of Practice. You’ll take ownership for: Corporate Partnership Management - Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate partners, ensuring mutual value and long-term engagement. Act as the primary liaison between the charity and corporate donors. Income Delivery - Personal target of approx. £1M through pledged and renewal income. Meet or exceed income targets from existing corporate accounts. Identify and pursue opportunities to grow partnerships through renewals Stewardship and Retention - Supporting the Corporate Partnerships team to deliver our annual programme of stewardship events. Deliver tailored stewardship plans, including impact reporting, recognition, and engagement opportunities. Project managing the successful delivery of partnership activity and KPIs, working closely with a variety of internal and external teams. Campaign and Event Integration - Collaborate with corporate partners on joint campaigns, employee engagement, and cause-related marketing. Coordinate corporate involvement in fundraising events and initia- tives. Reporting and Compliance - Maintain records of corporate engagement and income using Salesforce systems. Responsible for all corporate partnership monitoring, evaluation and reporting. Ensure all partner- ships comply with ethical fundraising standards and brand alignment. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with internal teams to deliver partnership benefits and impact report- ing. Leading on ad-hoc improvement projects to ensure future success for the Corporate Partnerships team. 1 About you • Marketing The Essentials: make sure you demonstrate these in your application. Even if you think you don't quite tick all the boxes we want to hear from you. • Ops • Finance • 3+ years’ experience in managing and stewarding corporate partners in a fundraising team, with a track record of retaining high-value, multi-year partnerships, delivering year-on-year income growth. More info on how the role fits in with the rest of the team and charity: You’ll report to: Head of Corporate Partnerships This position is a level 3 role. • Deep understanding of CSR/ESG trends, corporate motivations, and partnership models; able to align fundraising strategy with organisational priorities. • Expertise in developing compelling, mutually benefi- cial partnership propositions. Confident in negotiating partnership terms and influencing stakeholders to secure long-term value. • Skilled in research, data analysis, and income forecasting; confident interpreting pipeline data and presenting insights. Proficient in using data to demonstrate impact, track KPIs, and inform partner- ship strategy. • Proficient in CRM systems such as Salesforce for relationship and pipeline management and able to work effectively across teams to ensure seamless delivery of partnership commitments. • Outstanding written and verbal communicator, with experience crafting persuasive proposals and delivering high-impact presentations that resonate with corporate audiences. Excellent project manage- ment and coordination across multiple stakeholders. The nice to haves: we want to hear from you even if you can’t demonstrate these yet.
