The Role
We are seeking to recruit an Apprentice Document Controller to join our Eric Wright Construction team, working from our Bamber Bridge office as well as various sites across the North West.
As part of this apprenticeship, you will complete a relevant Business Administrator qualification through a local training provider. Alongside your academic studies, you will work closely with our experienced teams to develop practical, hands-on skills.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will support the Document Controller in managing and maintaining electronic document control systems and project documentation, as well as assisting with general correspondence and monthly commercial reports. As your skills develop—both on the job and through your college training—you will begin to undertake your own tasks under the supervision of the Document Controller and the Operations Manager.
Our apprenticeship scheme offers an excellent opportunity to earn a wage while gaining valuable work experience and a nationally recognised qualification. You will receive full support and mentoring throughout the programme.
The Person
We are looking for someone with a positive, willing attitude who is eager to learn all aspects of the Apprentice Document Controller role and enjoys working as part of a team. You will take a proactive approach to your own training and development throughout the programme. Many of the skills needed for success in this role will be gained during your apprenticeship.

Please note: This role involves travel between sites; therefore, a full driving licence is essential.
You will also need GCSE-level qualifications in Maths and English to meet the requirements of the apprenticeship programme.
