Purpose

- Education:Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or similar industry.
- Years of experience:Minimum five years of work experience in relevant fields preferably within INGOs sector and at least 2 years at a supervisory or Coordination level.
- Ability to understand the needs of women in Ninewa context.
- Demonstrate ability to supervise and motivate a team of people through a participatory and enabling management style
- Demonstrable understanding and experience of gender issues and proven commitment to addressing gender inequalities in all key areas of responsibility.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and experience in training and facilitations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and good report writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well as a part of a team.
- Ability to work through remote management with minimum supervision, and under pressure.
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and email applications)
- High level of fluency in English and Arabic (speaking, reading, writing).
- Ability to have flexible work schedule which may include early mornings, evenings and weekends. May be required to occasionally work beyond normally scheduled hours.
- Ability and willingness to travel around the country as required.

Physical Demands:
- Long hours work on the laptop.
- Sitting during long drives while travelling to other field locations.
