About the Role
Prime Sports Uk are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team, delivering high-quality physical activity sessions across primary schools in Bradford and Halifax. This is a dual-role position combining school-time and after-school coaching with lead responsibilities during school holiday sports camps.
This is an exciting opportunity for a coach who is passionate about inspiring young people, confident in leading groups, and able to deliver engaging, safe, and inclusive sessions.
Key Responsibilities
During School Term:
- Deliver curriculum-time PE lessons in primary schools
- Lead after-school sports clubs and activity sessions
- Plan and adapt sessions to meet the needs of varying ages and abilities
- Maintain excellent behaviour management and safeguarding standards
- Build strong relationships with school staff, pupils, and parents
During School Holidays:
- Act as Lead Coachfor our multi-sport holiday camps
- Oversee daily operations between 8:00am – 6:00pm(shift patterns may vary)
- Ensure camps run safely, smoothly, and to a high standard
- Supervise coaching staff and support assistants
- Create a positive, energetic, and fun environment for all children attending
Essential Requirements
- Significant experienceworking inschool settingsandholiday clubs/camps
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Ability to lead engaging, high-quality sports sessions
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Clean DBS(or willingness to obtain one)
- Reliable, flexible, and professional attitude
- Must be available throughout school holidays
Desirable (but not essential)
- A full UK driving licenceand access to a vehicle
- Relevant coaching qualifications
- First Aid and Safeguarding certificates
- Experience leading a team of coaches
