£12.35 per hour + 10% weekend enhancement + £2.50 per hour overtime bonus

At FitzRoy Gressenhall, we support four older gentlemen with learning disabilities and physical disabilities in a peaceful, homely bungalow surrounded by countryside. Their personalities shine through in everything they do — from enjoying countryside drives and birdwatching to relaxing with a café lunch or a trip to the pub. We’re looking for warm, compassionate Bank Support Workers who can offer flexible support tailored to each person’s individual needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Support Worker, no two days are ever the same. Your role will be to:

• Build trusting relationships with the people we support, helping them feel safe, valued and empowered

• Support with

  daily routineslike personal care, dressing, medication and meals

• Encourage independence with tasks like cooking, laundry, cleaning and budgeting

• Get out and about – driving our accessible vehicles to take the people we support to appointments, shops, the coast, or even just a scenic drive

• Join in on activities that bring joy and purpose – whether that’s watching wildlife, playing music, gardening, or socialising over lunch

• Keep accurate records and follow individual support plans

• Work flexibly across early, late, and weekend shifts to meet the needs of the people we support

What You’ll Need

• A

  full UK manual driving licence– you’ll be driving our accessible vehicles
• Your own reliable transport– our location is rural with limited public transport

• A

  positive, respectful and person-centred approachto care

• Confidence to support people with complex needs, with full training provided

• Willingness to work weekends and take part in shared team responsibility
