About the role
The Work Options Manager role is central to the delivery of high-quality services and the development of employment outcomes for people who have Learning Disabilities. The role will have a focus in North Wales, but will also involve wider support in other regions. This role involves the management of Deputy Work Options Managers, Employability Coaches, Employability Tutors, and Supported Employment advocates, and will focus on supporting this team to develop and improve employment options for the people who we support. Remote management of this team will be part of this role.
This role also involves the promotion of best supported employment practice across the local geographical region and the post holder will have a role in supporting the National Work Options Manager and Head of Day and Work Opportunities in influencing the organisation’s employment strategy moving forward.
The role will also be the operational lead on building links with local employer networks and obtaining funding streams to support the extension and development of the Work Options services going forward.
The job requires an individual with drive, enthusiasm and commitment. Someone with a ‘can do’ attitude who has the ability to look for creative solutions to meet people’s support needs in a way that respects their individuality. The ability to speak and/or write in Welsh is desirable for this role

Salary: Circa £35,000 Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (Usually 8.30-4.30, but some flexibility required around occasional evenings and weekends)
