Key Information

The Company:

Acoustic Consultants Limited was formed in Bristol in 1987 and are well established and highly respected within the sector. Over the last 4 years we have been growing our already established presence in London and now have a permanent office located in Lambeth. To support our growth, we are recruiting for Graduates through to Consultant level across our Bristol and London office and also remotely.

We work on all schemes within the educational, healthcare, offices, cultural, laboratory, residential and mixed-use sectors across the UK. Our approach ensures that every single one of our consultants gain valuable experience across the business – no one is pigeonholed into just one area.

Life at ACL:

We understand that life can sometimes get in the way and so we offer flexible working along with a generous holiday entitlement, competitive salaries, paid overtime or time off in lieu (rare in the industry!) and enrolment into the company wide bonus scheme.

We also like to make sure our team can decompress, with company get-togethers throughout the year.

We are committed to offering an open learning environment to ensure you progress and develop quickly in all fields of acoustics.

The Role:

The role will be dependent on your level of experience.

The successful candidates will work with our team in Bristol (Bedminster), London (Lambeth) or even remote working elsewhere in UK. The work will involve undertaking noise and vibration surveys, acoustic testing, noise impact assessments, providing building acoustic advice, building services advice, vibration assessments, noise modelling, data analysis and report writing.

The successful candidates will be required to liaise with clients, be able to manage their workload and be responsible for their own projects through to completion and on schedule. You would be supported by the Senior Consultants and Directors throughout.

Essential:

  • A degree in acoustics/engineering/maths/music productions/technology or a Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control
  • Ability to solve problems, write technical reports and analyse data.
  • Ability to manage projects and their time efficiently.
  • A full Driving License is required.

To apply, please email us with your CV and covering letter.
