ABOUT THE ROLE:

As HR & Business Support Manager you will deliver an HR service that is welcoming, efficient and supportive, blending personal and digital approaches to provide the best possible experience for employees.

You will empower line managers with the tools, training, and guidance they need to effectively support their teams, while managing accurate and efficient HR administration across recruitment, onboarding and employee records.

The HR & Business Support Manager will co-ordinate staff development and training, ensure HR policies are compliant with legislation and Groundwork’s values, and oversee office and business administration. Leading a small team of HR and Business Support Leads, you will drive improvements in HR data analysis, providing clear insights that inform management decisions, and use employee feedback to shape a culture of continuous improvement.

By staying ahead of external trends and legislative changes, you will help Groundwork remain compliant, innovative, and a truly great place to work.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

We’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking HR Manager to lead and develop our HR & Business Administration function. You will bring demonstrable experience as a senior HR generalist, ideally within an SME environment, alongside proven expertise in using HR systems and data to shape organisational improvements.

You will be an inspiring leader with a strong track record of coaching and developing high-performing individuals and teams, skilled at managing multiple priorities while ensuring delivery of key HR projects and initiatives.

Exceptional communication and influencing skills will be vital, as you’ll work across all levels of the organisation to provide clear guidance and build strong relationships. With outstanding organisational and planning skills, you will ensure that HR services, processes, and initiatives are executed with efficiency and impact.
