Working as part of the Eastern Regional Core Resources team you will provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of Regional Organising staff, providing services direct to our members, regions and branches. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to organise your own workload. As an experienced team player, you will have the ability to work quickly and accurately to manage and meet tight deadlines.
As well as being a confident communicator you will have excellent IT with a sound knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook. You will be required to regularly use a case management system and therefore database administration experience is preferred.
The post will be based in the Bury St Edmunds office. You will need to be prepared to undertake occasional travel within Eastern region and to UNISON Centre in London for meetings/training as required.
You do not have to have a Trade Union background, but you do need to have an understanding of the aims and values of the Trade Union Movement.
