Projects & Team Support Officer
Sandwell Consortium, Closing date: 9am, Monday 22nd September 2025.
Sandwell Consortium is a partnership of community organisations that deliver services to residents. These include health and wellbeing, welfare advice, ESOL & Digital learning, and employment support for the diverse communities across Sandwell. Our staff team helps secure funding for these services and supports the community partners to manage and monitor delivery and impact. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join this team.
Working Hours: 18-22 hours per week (negotiable)Salary level: £24,540 per year (full-time equivalent), paid pro rata for part-time hoursContract: Fixed term to 30th April 2026, with extension if funding is securedLocation: Oldbury town centre
You will support the Consortium team to monitor and administer these projects. You will provide support to the Consortium’s CEO and Programmes Manager through communications, online admin and monitoring systems, and support for meetings and events.
We're looking for someone who:
• has experience and skills in administering and supporting projects
• is comfortable using MS Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• has strong organising skills and is able to work to deadlines
• is confident in communication, and can design simple promotional materials
• is self-motivated and comfortable working as part of a busy team.
We offer a friendly and supportive work environment with training and development. This role is mainly office based in Oldbury town centre, near Sandwell & Dudley train station. The work will involve occasional visits to community organisations in Sandwell.
