Service Access Coordinator – SEND After-School, Weekend & Holiday Clubs

We are now seeking a compassionate, organised and detail-driven Service Access Coordinator to manage our full referral, onboarding and bookings process. KCA provides a service for children and young people aged 5–25 with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.

Kids Can Achieve (KCA), part of LDN London, has an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality after-school, weekend and holiday club services for children and young people aged 5–25 with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
We are now seeking a compassionate, organised and detail-driven Service Access Coordinator to manage our full referral, onboarding and bookings process, ensuring that every family receives a smooth, supportive and transparent journey into KCA’s services.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusion, has strong administrative and communication skills, and enjoys working closely with families, schools, social care and internal teams.
About the Role
Full-time or part-time (minimum 22.5 hours). Term-time only or year-round options available.
£28,500 pro rata
As the Service Access Coordinator, you will:
- Be the first point of contact for families and professionals making referrals
- Support young people and their families through the onboarding process and help them with a positive introduction in our services
- Prepare key onboarding documentation including initial support plans, risk assessments and PEEPs
- Coordinate bookings for After-School Clubs, Weekend and Holiday Clubs
- Maintain accurate attendance registers and monitor usage
- Identify wider family needs and work collaboratively with our family service
- Liaise with schools, SENCOs, social workers and health professionals as required
You will be part of an experienced, supportive and passionate team committed to helping children and young people with SEND learn, grow and thrive.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working within children’s services, SEND, education, social care, out-of-school or family support or similar.
- Understands SEND, learning disability or willing to learn.
- Has experience gathering structured information for assessments, support plans or risk assessments
- Can manage multiple deadlines and maintain high accuracy in data entry
- Is confident using digital systems
- Works calmly under pressure and remains solution-focused
- Builds positive relationships with families and external partners
A Level 3 qualification in childcare, youth work, education, administration or a related field is desirable but not essential.
